Tilley unopposed for nomination

Sydney Mines – Fred Tilley, a long time resident of Sydney Mines was unopposed for the liberal nomination in Cape Breton North. The seat is presently held by Progressive Conservative MLA and Energy Minister Cecil Clarke.
The nomination was held August 24th at the Knights of Columbus hall in Sydney Mines. Tilley is presently a Northside member of the Cape Breton Victoria Regional School Board and is currently academic chair of Business, Applied Arts and New Media at the Marconi Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College in Sydney.
